About me

My career hasn’t followed a straight or easy path. I began my career in the legal field before retraining in finance following the Celtic Tiger collapse, a challenging time for everyone, but one that prompted me to reassess my direction and ultimately led to new opportunities.

Over time, this journey led me to specialise in tax, an area I particularly enjoy because getting the structure right can add real, tangible value for clients. For me, tax sits at the intersection of technical detail and real-life decision-making, where good advice can genuinely make a difference.

Outside of work, I’m married with two children, which brings a constant reminder that behind every financial decision is a real person, a family and a future. That perspective strongly influences how I approach my work.
